Vaccines are necessary to protect our pets from potentially harmful (and sometimes deadly) diseases. They are made to keep our pets healthy and disease-free.
There are many different vaccinations, so it is important to discuss your location and your pet’s lifestyle with our staff and your veterinarian. Not every pet needs to be vaccinated against every disease. There are core vaccinations, which include rabies and distemper. These should be given to every pet, no matter where they live. However, not every pet needs to be vaccinated against diseases like feline leukemia and lyme disease.
Our goal is to keep your pets as healthy as possible. We believe that vaccinating your pets is one of the best ways to do this. We always recommend vaccinating your pets with the core vaccinations. Depending on their lifestyle, we may recommend other vaccinations as well.
When you bring your pets in for vaccinations, we give them an examination to make sure they are doing well and not having any problems. If you have any concerns about your pet’s health, we can discuss them at your visit.
